You can travel to Naru Island by ferry from either Nagasaki Port or Fukuoka Port. Both high-speed vessels and car ferries operate on these routes. Services may be canceled or delayed depending on the weather, so we recommend checking the latest service information in advance.

Yes, there are several places to eat, including restaurants serving set meals and cafés. They may become crowded during the tourist season and on weekends, so we recommend making a reservation and checking opening hours in advance.

Some shops and restaurants accept e-money and QR code payments, but many places do not, so we recommend bringing cash.

docomo, au, and SoftBank generally have coverage in many areas, but reception may be weak in parts of the island, such as the outskirts.

Naru Port Terminal, the campground, guesthouses, and some restaurants offer Wi-Fi. However, public Wi-Fi is not available across the island, so we recommend using mobile data.

Cigarettes are available at some shops and vending machines.
Please note that some vending machines do not accept the new 1,000 yen bill.

Fishing is prohibited in areas where squid spawning grounds have been installed. Please be sure to check the signboards posted by the fishermen's cooperative in the surrounding area.

Yes, tap water on the island is safe to drink. However, some long-term visitors also use bottled mineral water.
You can buy it at supermarkets and vending machines on the island.

There are no regularly scheduled buses. Getting around is mainly by walking, rental bicycle, or rental car.

If your pet can be brought on board the ferry, then you may visit the island.
However, we do not know of any accommodations that allow pets to stay with you, so please contact the inn directly.

There is a clinic on the island. Nighttime and holiday services are limited, so it is best to be prepared, including for emergency first aid.
